In 2010 Richard Dawkins, prominent Atheist who for years was the primary wrecking ball to the foundations of Christianity and the wests view of it, spoke out out about Islam. An article published in The Times London, called “Scandal and schism leave Christians praying for a ‘new Reformation’ ” said “There are no Christians, as far as I know, blowing up buildings. I am not aware of any Christian suicide bombers. I am not aware of any major Christian denomination that believes the penalty for apostasy is death. I have mixed feelings about the decline of Christianity, in so far as Christianity might be a bulwark against something worse.”. A perfect example of what I’m talking about is from the very article I bring up. The article was also about reformation after the scandal of the Catholic Church with the child sex abuse cases. This, of course shook the Christian world as well as the secular world, with the article claiming that “On everyone’s lips — and in the prayers of many — is the phrase “a new Reformation”.”The article also injects another hot topic of the 2010s into the article, it takes the time to mention Christians are “Divided” and “Britain’s religious beliefs are in freefall.” , due to its “rows against homosexuality”. This article mentions The National Secular Society, NSS, in how they have denounced that catholic church for child abuse. Talking about the Vienna Cardinal Hans Hermann Groer being removed from his position in 1995, and how Cardinal Christoph Schönborn of Viennas interview ” “In his anxiousness to help the present Pope out of the tight corner he now finds himself in, Schön-born has let the cat out of the bag about JPII’s involvement, inadvertently opening the window on the Church’s culture of secrecy which led to child abuse being perpetuated ad nauseam.”. So the NSS painted a picture as if the church itself as in the Catholic church as a whole, Christianity, has covered up and potentially covering up many more, as if this was apart of our scriptures and okayed by The Bible. Also bringing up Joe Jordan who was ordained as a priest in late 90s and sentenced to 8 years in prison for child sex abuse. The article brings up a quote from Richard Chartres, the Anglican Bishop of London, speaking at St. Pauls Cathedral April 5, 2010. Saying “It has been a difficult period in which to be a public representative of the Church. Caricatures of the Christian faith are ridiculed, while the massive contribution of the Church to local communities is ignored or minimised. Then we must acknowledge with sorrow that parts of the Church have been caught up in scandal in a way that injures the whole body. It is a ghastly crime to prey upon the vulnerable and innocent and to behave in a predatory way is to betray Jesus Christ.”.Now indeed this wasn’t scandal and indeed many children were harmed aniabused,  and indeed there was a cover up. The problem with the NSS’s allegations towards The Catholic Church was that, this was not uncovered by people outside the Church community as a whole. It was uncovered BY the Church community and then rebuked by the Church community as a whole. As is a common theme in Christian history where reform always comes from within.

But the Reason I bring this up is not to diminish or downplay or play the game of “what about them, they do it too”. NO. the only thing I’ll be pointing out is the uncomfortable truth buried in hypocrisy. This news was highly suppressed and anyone who brought it up was demonized with allegations of being “far right” or racist for doing so, or because there’s so much distraction in the world that news gets buried with so many distractions of social media, but I digress. “A report by Alexis Jay exposed ‘blatant’ failures by police and the Labour-run local council, where officials feared racism accusations at the time. The independent inquiry said an unpublished Home Office research report from 2002 described the extent of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham and a series of criticisms over the response ‘that should have raised concern’. But a large-scale inquiry was not launched until after a Times report on the scale of grooming provoked a national scandal a decade later.”.The Labour Party is the UKs Democrat. Ahh yes the Grooming Gang scandle, also in the UK, where “religious beliefs are in freefall”. The National Crime Agency’s uncovered that more than 1,500 women and girls may have been sexually exploited in the Yorkshire town since 1997 to 2013. But many more a until 2024, were also having to deal with this epidemic, all over the UK, where a certain religion resides in large numbers. Sarah Champion, a Member of Parliament in Rotherham in South Yorkshire, England, said that “it’s clear that the Home Office knew about child sexual exploitation in Rotherham from 2002” also saying that “Why, when so many in authority knew the scale and severity of this crime, did it take until 2014, with the publication of the Jay report, for a large-scale investigation to occur?” she asked. “How many lives could have been protected if swift action had been taken a decade before?”.

In an Article in the Daily Mail by Andy Gardner, in January 30, 2024 titled,  “Half of Rotherham sex gang core members are already back on the streets despite being involved in the abuse and trafficking of up to 1,400 girls,”, he gives some interesting insights on the goings on in the region.”At least 11,( out of the 22),  key members of Rotherham sex grooming gangs sentenced to over 180 years in jail have been quietly released after serving half their sentences or will be released on parole in the next few weeks”, saying that, “A twelfth member, Zalgai Ahmadi, now 51, was told on Friday 26th January, 2024, that the Parole Board had recommended his release. He was serving a nine-and-a-half year sentence for being part of a gang that held a 14-year-old girl in his flat against her will.The panel ruled that the abuser, convicted of conspiracy to commit sexual assault and false imprisonment and jailed at Sheffield Crown Court in May 2017, was no longer a threat to the public.”.Then saying “Parole Board decisions are solely focused on what risk a prisoner could represent to the public if released and whether that risk is manageable in the community.”.

Weather that risk is manageable in the community is a very important detail I would like to bring up, in relation to the divide amongst Christians in regards to the Catholic  Church sexual abuse scandal.The community that people like Zalgai Ahmadi, Asif Ali Salah Ahmed, El-Hakam Ishtiaq Khaliq, Mohammed WhiedNaeem Rafiq, Mohammed Amar, Mohammed Zameer Sadiq, Tahir Yassin, and many many more are from, the Islamic Community, the Umma. Particularly the Pakistani Muslim communities in the UK. It was not the muslim community that had to bring this to the attention of the world, it was most definitely outside the muslim community, and for that matter, outside the UKs own government to bring these rapes, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking to light. The UK government was too worried about the muslim vote to care about such occurrences in their country, due to the mass migration that they themselves campaigned on. But I bring this up not to get political, but to hammer in the fact that the Umma, (Islamic community) had no role in bringing this to light. No role in rebuking those from their own communities who were engaging in this , or knew about it and covered it up, neither did the UK Government.

The Hussein family, consisting of Arshid Hussain (the ringleader in one major case, jailed for 35 years in 2016 for multiple rapes and other offenses), Basharat Hussain (jailed for 25 years in the same 2016 case), Bannaras Hussain (jailed for 19 years in 2016), Sageer Hussain, (convicted in 2016 of rapes and indecent assaults, jailed for 19 years), and Qurban Ali, the uncle. All convicted of grooming, sexually exploiting and gang raping a 14 year old girl named Sammy Woodhouse for a period of 2 years, getting her pregnant at 15. You mean to tell me that this family -as well as all the others that I mentioned, including the many that I didn’t that are not known- aren’t connected with the Muslim communities? They don’t have neighbors who would have seen or heard about non Muslim girls going in and out of their houses? 1500 of these cases happening since 1997 to 2013 and possibly more, well into 2023, and the NSS (National Secular Society) had to say about this? Only time when addressing the Rotherham cases, was to the public and that the publicshould “caution against weaponization”.

“The NSS has emphasized that while these issues must be addressed openly (including religious/cultural factors), the topic has sometimes been “weaponised by the far-right to demonise all Muslims.”

They stress the need for balanced, evidence-based discussion to protect victims without fueling prejudice.”

This is not just the NSS view on this subject, of course, I already mentioned the UK government, but the citizens generally have the same sentiment. Instead of going at the source of the problem they will instead criticize others -as radical, racist, and far right- for going at the source. Even going as far as making it about race being that they were majority Pakistani, protecting by proxy, the Islamic communities, and the fact that they were Muslim. But the source make no doubt about it is Islam.

This is due to the decades-long indoctrination leading to not only the disdain the modern westerners have towards religion, Christianity Specifically. But also the decades-long campaigns with news outlets, Politicians, even celebrities all parroting  ad nauseum, the same thing. That Islam is “a religion of peace” and that there are people who misunderstand and twist the religions teachings in order to fit their needs. Unfortunately for them, unlike the Catholic Church scandal this has everything to do with the religion, with Islam. In other writings, I have gone over much of what the Quran says about killing the non-believer but maybe I haven’t hammered in the idea of pedophilia and sex captives in Islam.
